Will I need a car rental?

Yes, Canada is large and… well, Cape Breton is quite remote. Fortunately, the airport has an Enterprise car rental. For Sydney here is the link: Car Rental Sydney Airport (YQY) | Enterprise Rent-A-Car For Halifax, here is the link: Car Rental Halifax International Airport (YHZ) | Enterprise Rent-A-Car Let us know if you have any issues and we can further assist you.

I can’t decide what to get you, what kind of gifts would you like?

While it is always fun to unwrap prezzies, we have two truths to tell ya… 1. We already have ourselves established and can’t think of any material items we need; and 2. We will be travelling back to Alberta with only our suitcases, so we won’t have any room to haul prezzies back with us. If you really feel like you want to give us a gift, we would be grateful for a nominal money gift in any amount you choose.

Will I need to get a Parks Canada Pass? If so, how do I get one?

If you are staying in and around the wedding area and or Baddeck, you will not need a park pass. However, if you are venturing towards the Cabot Trail, such as Ingonish, you will likely need a park pass depending on where you are planning to stop. This pass allows you to enter any national park within Canada and because parts of Cape Breton is in a national park, some areas in the national park may require a pass.
